This position will lead innovation in service delivery and execute strategic, financial, and operating priorities against established goals, in a dyad leadership model approach. This role will be accountable for clinical quality improvement, continued focus on quality & patient safety, provider credentialing, and mentoring of division leaders.

The Medical Director must be a physician licensed within the State of Maryland and Board certified in a medical specialty or have the equivalent in education and/or experience. Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field is highly desirable. He/She will have sufficient clinical experience in the field and significant administrative experience. Minimum of five (5) years experience. Knowledge of the content, intent, and applications of regulations, policies, standards, operations, and requirements applicable to Surgical Specialities services.
