Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician for a Great Opportunity in Toms River New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Atlantic Medical Group Primary Care at Toms River. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the development and growth of a newly renovated practice, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, scheduled to be fully operational by September 2023.
Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) will play a pivotal role in the development of the Primary Care practice and will be comfortable working with patients from all ages. Responsibilities will include conducting thorough patient assessments, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and 1-2 years of Family Medicine experience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of Family Medicine experience
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
