OverviewThis new grad Resident cohort primarily targets December 2025 new grads as well as new grads who have previously graduated but will not have one or more years of RN experience by February 2026.WakeMed’s nurse residency is a one-year program that offers clinical and educational activities to facilitate professional and personal growth for the new nurse graduate.  This educationally rich and emotionally supportive environment provides a positive transition to nursing practice and is a program that has maintained a retention rate of greater than 90%!  Our residency is a wonderful way to begin your career and develop lifelong relationships as well as mentor within the WakeMed fam
