Job DescriptionThe Clinical Coordinator has a dual role. This dual role includes time at the bedside either as a charge nurse or primary nurse in addition to administrative responsibilities. In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Nurse Manager, assists him/her in the daily management of the unit, in the coordination of patient flow, in assuring appropriate staffing, budget compliance, and in the preparation of performance evaluations. The Clinical Coordinator functions as a clinical expert for the unit, participating in the ongoing professional development of the team members and in the orientation of new team members.
