Registered Nurse - Hospice Care
The Registered Nurse (RN), on the 10-bed Hospice Cottage, provides high quality care for Veterans, with a terminal diagnosis and prognosis of less than six months. Care emphasis is on the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of Veterans and their families. RNs are responsible/accountable for all elements of the nursing process during end of life patient care with the goal to improve quality of life, diminish pain and to increase comfort.
