POSITION SUMMARY The Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works in collaboration with the Interventional Radiologists to provide comprehensive care for their patients. The APP is responsible for the following tasks: patient evaluation, completing history and physical exams, ordering diagnostic studies, interpreting test results, performing radiological procedures under imaging guidance (see list below), providing oral and written communication with referring physicians and other clinical staff, developing and implementing patient treatment plans all under the guidelines set forth in the Standard Care Arrangement.
