Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the APC will involve providing a broad range of services in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of cardiac experience and exceptional skills in assessments, consultations, H&P, order entries, and proficient in EPIC. The APC will also enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment and have the opportunity to speak at national meetings to increase networking across the country.
The AMG Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center is a world-renowned program and reputation for excellence that has earned numerous accolades and recognition for its outstanding patient care, advanced technology, and cutting-edge research in the field of cardiac care. One of the center's most significant accomplishments is being awarded the highest rating of three stars from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for aortic valve replacement surgery.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1 year of Cardiac experience is preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
