Responsibilities: In your job, you will have the ability to make a difference in a patient's journey by:
Collaborate with physicians and other providers to screen potential patients for eligibility; present trial concepts and details to the patients, participate in the informed consent process, and enroll patients on clinical trials.
Collaborate with study team on subject recruitment and study enrollment goals; work with team to determine effective strategies for promoting/recruiting research participants and retaining participants in long-term clinical trials; provide clinical services as required including patient assessments.
Deliver patient care in compliance with protocol requirements; dispense investigational drug and provide patient teaching regarding administration; maintain investigational drug accountability.
Manage and maintain regulatory documents in accordance with USOR SOP and applicable regulations; collaborate with Research Site Leader in the study selection process; may participate in scheduling monitoring and auditing visits as well as interact with the monitors/auditors while onsite.
Participate in required training and education of staff and patients.
Partner with the physician and other providers, review patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug and thoroughly documents all findings; responsible for reviewing protocol specific billing guides and submitting billing information to appropriate personnel.
Support the preparation of orders by physicians to assure that protocol compliance is maintained; communicate with physician regarding study requirements, need for dose modification, and adverse event reporting.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education.
Minimum 1 (one) year experience required, preferably in an oncology environment.
Experience in Microsoft Office required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 3 months of hire.
Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
What You Bring to the Team:
BSN preferred.
OCN, SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
Experience in clinical research preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures such as protocols, informed consent documents, and regulatory documents.
Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and follow through with results.
Ability to solve practical problems and implement solutions.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with multiple people on many different levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates who accept employment including current employees who are applying for internal positions, are required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to their start date.
