The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating clinical operations at the Ambulatory Facility. The DON reports directly to the Facility Administrator and collaborates with the Medical Director to ensure operational compliance with state regulations, standards of practice, and clinical guidelines. The DON facilitates recruitment, orientation, education, credentialing, and continuing professional development of nursing services associates.The DON facilitates, coordinates, and directs patient care services.
