This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. OR The completion of coursework equivalent to a nursing degree in a MSN Bridge Program that qualifies for professional nursing registration constitutes the completion of an approved course of study of professional nursing. Students should submit the certificate of professional nursing to sit for the NCLEX to the VA along with a copy of the MSN transcript. VAPORHCS operates a Community Resource and Referral Center which serves homeless Veterans in downtown Portland and also provides Home-Based Primary Care. The incumbent practices as a RN within the Community Living Center (CLC), located at the Vancouver campus in the Rehabilitation and Long Term Care (RL TC) Division. The CLC provides short term transitional care for residents who require skilled nursing care, close medical monitoring and sub-acute rehabilitation. Resident populations include those having chronic or sub-acute medical conditions, including residents that are chronically ventilated. The RN is accountable for patient driven care of a defined group of residents.
