The Neuroscience Center at Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician for its Epilepsy Division
The Neuroscience Center at Atlantic Health System is thrilled to expand its Epilepsy Division. Our goal is to provide exceptional care to patients with epilepsy, and we are looking for Advanced Practice Clinicians (Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners) to join our dedicated team. With plans to add 2 adult epileptologists and 3 advanced practice providers within the year, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our rapidly growing field.
Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center are Level 4 epilepsy centers, providing advanced diagnostics and treatment options. You will collaborate with a supportive team of expert physicians, nurses, and medical assistants. Advanced Practice Clinicians will have the opportunity to engage in focused care clinics like women's health, ketogenic diet, or neurostimulation and participate in teaching and community outreach initiatives.
The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) will mainly be responsible for seeing outpatients in epilepsy clinic. They will also provide hospital coverage for epilepsy consults and elective inpatients the epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) under the collaboration and supervision of an epileptologist. Work weeks will alternate between clinic, in-patient epilepsy consults, and EMU duties. Duties may be tailored towards the qualified individual's interests and strengths.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
ACLS and BLS certification required
Both experienced APCs and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
Neurology or epilepsy experience not required; dedication to sub-specialty care in epilepsy and willingness to learn highly valued
