The incumbent practices as a peri-operative RN in the Operating Room (OR) providing nursing care in a scrub and/or circulating nurse role. The Operating Room provides surgical services to all surgical specialties and their patients within the VA system including Cardiac, Thoracic, Dental, Eye, GYN, Gen surgery, Neurosurgery, Ortho, OTO, Plastics, Podiatry, GU and Vascular. Transplants are not done at VA Puget Sound. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
