Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Clinician for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Clinician to be part of the medical team at Overlook Surgical Associates, located in Overlook Medical Center. This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and growing practice with a robust staff.
The APC should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of General Surgery including laparoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous operative experience. Successful candidates will have access to the Da Vinci Robotic system and an opportunity to increase their knowledge and skillset in robotics. No weekends, holidays, and call requirement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors & Master's degree required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS required
- Minimum of 1-year operative experience is required
- Completion of post graduate surgical residency/fellowship is a plus
- DaVinci Certification is preferred
- Must be knowledgeable and comfortable in laparoscopic procedures
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
