Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Rehab Program at Overlook Medical Center to work 7AM - 3PM.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
Supervises proficiency of personnel monitoring both quantity and quality of work performed daily
Reviews daily scheduled procedures to ensure adequate staffing levels
Utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to coordinate patient care
Collaborates with manager in assessing needs of the department and reports any problems and potential issues that may affect department work-flow
Appropriately delegates responsibilities
Monitor patient satisfaction scores for process improvement
Candidate also responsible for employee management; conducts yearly performance reviews
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
BSN required
Masters Degree Preferred
Minimum Experience:
At least 3 years of Cardiac Rehab experience as a Registered Nurse
At least 3 years of Cardiac Care experience in an a Acute care setting as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated Nursing Leadership experience
Knowledge of AACVPR regulations
License/Certification:
Current New Jersey Nursing License required
ACLS required
BLS required
