The role you’ll contribute:
TheEmergency Department Manager will be responsible for all the following duties and responsibilities in collaboration with the Department Director. These will include, but are not limited to: customer satisfaction, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resources issues, employee competency, performance improvement, maintaining and complying with policies and procedures and regular communication with employees. The NurseManagerprovides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to- day basis. Occasional duties and responsibilities will occasionally occur outside of typical office hours.

Responsible for department payroll
Responsible for managing productivity and budget goals
Complies with all regulatory organizations and prepares for site surveys
Responsible for staffing, screening, interviewing new candidates
Responsible for progressive counseling through verbal & written communication
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
ASN required; BSN preferred
Current Georgia RN license
Current BLS/ACLS/PALS
Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN and 2 years nursing leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
