Overview
Atlantic Health is Seeking a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare systems is seeking a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our outpatient location in Union, NJ, affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled NP to support a growing team.
Responsibilities
The NP is expected to perform assessments of health status for the outpatient setting, participate in diagnosis of health status, develop plans of care, and implementation of treatment. Responsibilities also include handling patients with chronic diseases including kidney related issues.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of Nephrology or acute care experience preferred
- Primary Care experience will be considered
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
