Our community hospital serves a multicultural population, and we need a patient, persistent and expert Rehab specialist like you to play an essential role in helping enhance patients’ quality of life after injury or due to physical disabilities. You’ll use your passion for rehabilitation to ensure that each patient receives the care that sets the standard as you treat them with compassion and empathy.
The chosen NP will:
Utilize expert clinical knowledge to assess/examine, diagnose and treat patients
Interact with members of the multidisciplinary team to promote the best possible patient satisfaction and outcomes
Provide direct patient care: obtain patient medical history, prepare a treatment plan, prescribe medications, record vitals, monitor diagnostic tests, and document all patient care activities
Offer advice on proper nutrition, exercise, and hygiene habits to help in patients’ recovery
This position requires:
Master’s degree in Nursing or graduate of an approved NP Program
Current NYS license as an RN and NP
ACLS/BCLS certifications
Demonstrated working knowledge of rehabilitation policy and procedures
