Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Clinician for a Great Opportunity in Summit NJ!
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our team of board-certified critical care physicians and residents at Overlook Medical Center. The Hospitalist APC role will provide care to our patients during the night shifts.
The APC's primary role is to assess patients for risks associated with the care of the acutely and chronically ill. The APC will also work with an interdisciplinary health care team to make acute and complex chronic condition diagnoses. This position will including answering floor calls and assisting with admissions in the ED.
Qualifications
- Bachelors & Master's degree required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS required
- 1-2 years of Acute Care experience as an APC is preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
