The Nurse Manager functions as a supervisor and assumes 24/7 accountability for the operational function of the GI and Pulmonary Departments. Assignment may include (but is not limited to) scheduling, staffing, evaluating, counseling, and directing nursing personnel in assigned units as well as monitoring of and ensuring quality performance metrics.
