The Chief Nurse in Mental Health Service is an executive level registered nurse who reports directly to the Chief of Staff. The incumbent has direct responsibility and accountability for Veterans receiving mental health services at the Overton Brooks VAMC. The incumbent collaborates with professional clinical program leadership for social work, psychiatry, psychology and nursing programs in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for Mental Health services at the OBVAMC. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
