The Acute Care Float Nurse Manager holds the responsibility for implementation of the Vision, Mission and Values of the Pittsburgh VAMC within his/her defined areas of responsibility. He/ She is accountable for the operation of Inpatient Units, supporting teams, and the care needed to support the patient from admission through discharge. This includes direct patent care and the coordination of inpatient and outpatient care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
