The Assistant Nurse Manager is an entry level supervisory position that reports directly to the Nurse Manager. This position functions as the Off Tour Assistant Nurse Manager for MICU/step down unit. He/she assumes co-responsibility as directed for staffing and scheduling of permanent and supplemental nursing staff, and supports unit operation by ensuring that assignments of staff reflect their appropriate utilization, compliance with staff guidelines and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
