This is an exciting additional position being added to our growing Neuro Oncology team. You will work along side another Neuro Onc Coordinator, Physicians and Nurse Practitioner caring for patients who have brain tumors receiving a combination of treatment including; chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Duties will include: education, coordination or appointments, phone triage, med refill and participation in team meetings. This is exciting opportunity will work Monday through Friday in a 9/80 schedule (1 day off per pay period).
This position coordinates the patient care services, workflow, and activities provided by nursing and support staff of assigned program. This position provides guidance, support, and direction to staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards and requirements.
Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Required)
Masters degree in Nursing. (Preferred)
Three years clinical practice experience. (Required)
Experience with pediatric patient populations. (Preferred)
Current State of Arizona RN license. (Required)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
