The Assistant Nurse Manager is a dual clinical/administrative role which serves as an assistant with line authority to the unit Nurse Manager in providing leadership and direction to nursing staff. RN is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care/practice; provide direct/indirect patient care, maintaining current documentation of unit competencies and mandatory education, mentoring new staff, problem solving, consultation and collaboration with the health care team. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
