Wound Care Tech PRN Days Position Summary This position is a non-licensed position requiring on the job training. Duties include assisting with direct patient wound care that are assigned by the licensed wound care RN and MD. Duties include set up and /cleanup of treatment space, monitoring patients, obtaining and recording vital signs, removing and applying dressings, and ordering/stocking supplies The position will require becoming proficient with topical dressing changes, compression wraps, negative pressure wound therapy, and total contact casting. Additional duties may include crash cart safety checks, supporting administrative staff, and other duties as assigned by the clinic manager.
