The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing safe and therapeutic dialysis treatments to patients with acute or chronic renal disease. This position covers the outpatient dialysis unit, inpatient dialysis in the intensive care unit, and emergency call for the non-operational hours of the dialysis unit on a rotating basis. This position may also have to cover the peritoneal nurse and renal clinic as needed. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
