Position Summary: The incumbent has 24-hour responsibility for and oversight of the coordination of care for patients and families within the department. The incumbent shall plan, organize, direct and evaluate people and activities for the department to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care. The incumbent has fiscal responsibility for resources that are defined during the budget process.
