The Fayetteville VAMC is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve in the Urgent Care Center/Emergency Department. The UCC/ED nurse is a direct care provider whose scope of practice includes providing nursing care for patients at the UCC/ED assuming the role as assigned such as triage, Quick Look RN( Nurse First), patient care primary nurse, and/or charge nurse. The UCC/ED provides acute medical care for patients without a scheduled appointment who are in need of immediate attention. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
