Nurse Practitioner - Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
The primary role of the Surgical Intensive Care Nurse Practitioner is to provide direct care management of complex medical and surgical patients in consultation with critical care medical and surgical physicians. The Nurse Practitioner will work as an independent licensed practitioner under the medical direction of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Director. Additional responsibilities will include cross-coverage for patients in the Spinal Cord Injury/Disability (SCI/D). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
