Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager for the Operating Room at Chilton Medical Center.
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Oversee the OR , OR Support Staff , OR Scheduling , Surgical Scheduling, and Sterile Processing Department.
Responsible for the administrative functions in surgical services areas, staffing, and directing surgical services personnel.
Providing mechanisms for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, and surgical service staff competency; as well as Finance and Budget preparation.
Planning and controlling the physical environment, materials, equipment, and supplies to provide competitive, cost effective operating room service to patients and surgeons.
Representing the hospital and surgical services in all activities related to surgical services.
Planning and marketing surgical services programs to medical staff, hospital, and community.
Maintaining active communication among medical staff, interdepartmental directors, and surgical service staff.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Master's Degree preferred
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
3-5 years of experience of perioperative experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience as years of Nursing Leadership, Charge Nurse or Management experience
