The RN is assigned to the Nursing and Patient Care Service as a staff RN in the Psychiatric Unit . The acute psychiatric unit provides care to Veterans admitted with a psychiatric diagnosis who require an acute level of care and observation. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
