The Nursing Officer on Duty (NOD) is a Registered Nurse (RN) in a supervisory role who is responsible for administrative, clinical, and clerical functions related to patient care during weekend and holiday hours at the Chalmers Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC). In addition, this NOD provides occasional support to Nursing Administration as back-up coverage for the Intermittent/Float Pool Nurse Manager and Nursing Education.
