Registered Nurse-Officer on Duty
The Nursing Officer on Duty (NOD) is a Registered Nurse (RN) in a supervisory role who is responsible for administrative, clinical, and clerical functions related to patient care during weekend and holiday hours at the Chalmers Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC). In addition, this NOD provides occasional support to Nursing Administration as back-up coverage for the Intermittent/Float Pool Nurse Manager and Nursing Education. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency.
