Provide support to physicians who specialize in vascular surgery, podiatry, plastic surgery and primary care
Maintain independently, patient panel of two days per week.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to include wound debridement, dressing, point person for urgent same day services, patient follow up.
Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the diagnosis and, thereby, the therapeutic plan of the surgeon.
A major role will be as patient advocate in the medical care system, serving as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients and physicians.
Must have a strong desire to specialize in wound care.
