This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The Assistant Nurse Manager-Telehealth is a professional who provides supervisory oversight to program staff in the day-to day operations of the telehealth program. This RN is a supervisor and provides oversight for staffing, time and attendance, counseling and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. The Assistant Nurse Manager provides care to Veterans that have clinical appointments using telehealth technology. Incumbent must demonstrate that they can support providers at the patient site of care. This person must be able to deliver holistic care to the adult and geriatric populations in the patient care settings by using collaborative strategies and in compliance with Nursing Practice Acts, in addition to Medical Center and Department standards. The incumbent will provide direct nursing care to individual and groups of patients under the guidance and direction of a provider or under the direction of the Facility Telehealth Coordinator/Nurse Manager. Remote care and services is provided to adult patients, aged 18-85 and older, who have chronic or acute health conditions that can be supported using remote technology. The Assistant Nurse Manager acts as the Nurse Manager during times of their absence.
