This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more Facility Telehealth Coordinator (FTC) is an expert RN who serves as a resource and collaborates with diverse stakeholders as Service Chiefs, Senior Executive leadership, with input from the VISN 7 Telehealth Program Lead, and National Office of Connected Care stakeholders. The FTC works closely with Telehealth Nurse Manager, Telehealth Lead, Home Telehealth Lead, Telehealth program staff, healthcare providers, PACT team, other healthcare professionals. Leadership/Oversight: Works with others in strategic planning activities for Telehealth programs within the facility. Seeks opportunities to improve knowledge of telehealth resources within the facility. Participates in group activities to implement Telehealth programs within the facility. Clinical/Technical Practice: Demonstrates novice nursing competence in nursing care and decision-making. Seeks guidance and information regarding technical concepts for telehealth use, training, pilot testing, implementing interfacility care, and problem resolution. Seeks assistance with assessment, coordination, and planning for multiple telehealth care services with guidance. Uses novice clinical knowledge/judgement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes and receives constructive feedback from leaders, peers, coaches/mentors. Participates in management discussions, decisions, and policymaking concerning Telehealth and rural health and emergency/disaster planning and follows direction of leaders. Communicates professionally with the VISN Telehealth Committee, Office of Information & Technology, Biomedical Engineering representatives, and other stakeholders and assist with development of plans. Quality: Understands and participates in Telehealth performance measures and action plans. Tracks data related to facility metrics related to the conditions of participation related to the Telehealth and Home Telehealth programs. Education: Seeks knowledge related to education and evaluation of care management services and follows direction.
