This is a PRN position in our Nursing Administration department that will be scheduled based on the needs of the department.
Under the supervision of Area Director, administratively coordinates and manages hospital activities on a per shift basis. The House Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative leadership, consultation and support for the patient services areas during the off-shift hours. The position provides administrative continuity to staff, patients and families while acting as a liaison for the administrator-on-call and the nursing management team.
Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Bachelorâ��s degree in Nursing or Health Related field preferred.
Experience: RN with a minimum of 3 years acute care clinical experience and 2 years of management/supervisory experience is required.
Licensure/Certifications: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. American Heart Association issued BLS is required. ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
