RN Wound Care PRN Days
East Cooper Medical Center
The Comprehensive Wound Center (CWC), a division of East Cooper Medical Center, is a dynamic and growing wound center located off campus that provides outpatient wound care, pre and post operative ostomy care, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Advanced comprehensive wound care is provided for acute and chronic wounds. The CWC follows best care practices and guidelines as outlined by the CWOCN and utilizes the most advanced modalities to achieve the best outcomes. The CWC ranks in the top percentile National Healing Rates. The CWON will primarily deal with the adult and geriatric patient to perform wound and ostomy care for a variety of diagnosis and disorders. The CWON will serve as a collaborator and educator to family members and medical practices.
In-patient wound care to include a new In-patient Rehabilitation Facility with an opportunity to cross train at the outpatient Comprehensive Wound Center.
1-2 days per week. No weekend, No call.

Education/Qualifications:
1. Current RN License and in good standing with South Carolina State Board of Nursing
2. Current Certification by an accredited Wound, Ostomy & Continence Board
3. 3-5 years nursing experience preferred
4. Current BLS and ACLS certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment
