The Nurse Manager is a designated first-line supervisory authority, responsibility and accountability for the 24/7 operations of his/her respective clinical area. Ensuring that assigned personnel provide timely nursing care which complies with generally accepted standards of clinical practice. This includes the authority to accept amend or reject the work of assigned personnel. Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities and preparing schedules for completion of work Assigning work to assigned personnel based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and the requirements of the assignments, and the capabilities of assigned personnel Evaluating the performance of assigned personnel Making recommendations for appointments, advancements or reassignments of assigned personnel Giving advice, counsel. or instruction to assigned personnel on work and administrative matters Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
