Summary
The Assistant manager is a Registered Nurse/RN who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Adult Emergency Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. Assistant manager/Registered Nurse/RN directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all emergency service line staff.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: Academic degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree
Experience
Required: Assistant manager 2-3 yrs RN experience in emergency nursing
Certifications
Required: Assistant manager Must be currently Registered Nurse/RN licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. Assistant manager/Registered Nurse Must have BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC
Candidates within the unit have priority by unit seniority.
