The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the operations of assigned department. Demonstrate productive and efficient management skills. Promotes quality awareness and achieving the highest standard of excellence. Also, the Assistant Nurse Manager ensures performance improvement initiatives are implemented. Monitors staff performance. Collaborates with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient care standards are expected from an Assistant Nurse Manager.
Required: Academic degree in nursing Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree
Required: 1 year of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a leader or full time charge nurse/assistant nurse manager/related position
Required: Must be currently licensed (Registered Nurse / RN), certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR/BLS, ACLS and EKG Certified
