The Registered Nurse is administratively responsible to the Nurse Manager of Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic. The RN has accumulated enough clinical experience to be proficient in nursing skills and practice. The RN is able to handle complex patients and patient situations. The RN is self-directed and involved in the workings of the unit/work group/team. The RN is responsible for guiding and directing and has the ability and skills to assume charge nurse duties.
