The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Medicine seeks outstanding candidates for tenured faculty positions at the Associate or Full Professor levels in the field of Neuroscience.

We seek faculty candidates whose research has demonstrated excellence and impact in Neuroscience. Candidates across a broad range of areas will be considered, but we especially seek and encourage candidates with a record of innovative and collaborative research in neurodegeneration, the neurovascular system, neuroinflammation or neuroimmunology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D., significant current extramural funding, and a strong record of research excellence.
The successful candidates will be expected to maintain an extramurally-funded research program and to participate in teaching at the graduate and professional health sciences levels. Competitive salary and start-up packages are available. Highly distinguished scholars may be eligible for nomination to the University of Illinois System Distinguished Faculty Recruitment Program.
