Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team.
The qualified PACU Registered Nurse will provide specialized short-term intensive nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia during the immediate post anesthetic period based on accepted practices and principles of AORN and ASPAN. This full-time position is eight-hour shifts, working weekdays.
Requires a CA RN license, current CPR certification and the ability to obtain PALS certification within 6 months of employment. Prefer one year of Post Anesthesia Recovery Room experience.
