DESCRIPTION: Energetic, experienced team player, knowledgeable in all aspects of Interventional Radiology, including cat scan/special procedures/Interventional Radiology. Works with the Radiologist and other personnel to provide diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Angiography Suite. Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to provide diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures in the Special Procedures areas within Diagnostic Imaging. Functional supervision may be exercised over cross-training Radiologic Technologists and/or students.
Special Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. Should be able to independently scrub and pan all Interventional Radiologic procedures. Should be knowledgeable with all Interventional Radiologic procedures and equipment used. On call is required.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 1 year in Interventional Radiology, 3 yrs preferred. Completion of JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology. ARRT and MRTBE BLS Completion of JRCERT approval formal program in Radiologic Technology. Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) and CPR required. Preferred Qualifications: Three years Interventional Radiology. CVRT ACLS
