The Chief Nursing Officer provides oversight and leadership for patient care services across all areas of the hospital through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical services. Will be responsible for assuring that patient care services are established for the provision of care that reflect the hospital’s mission, vision, core values, goals, objectives, and the requirements of regulatory and accreditation standards. Continually monitors care provided to ensure consistency with evidence based practice and improved patient outcomes. In collaboration with other senior leaders in the organization, the Chief Nursing Officer facilities a health care environment in support of the best experience for patient care, employees to work and physicians to practice.
Required Licensure and Certification: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California; Certification in Nursing Administration or related management field. Required Education: Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Nursing, Master Degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum Experience: Ten + (10) years of progressive management experience, Five (5) or more years in the role of Assistant CNO or equivalent level. Required Knowledge and Skills: Performance improvement methodology, financial management and budgeting, regulatory compliance and risk management, leadership development, interpersonal communication skills.
