The Frontier Cancer Center at St. Vincent offers cutting-edge cancer treatment in a healing and beautiful environment. Our Radiation Oncology department is growing, and we offer high dose rate brachytherapy, stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy and CyberKnife radiotherapy in addition to our comprehensive slate of radiation oncology services.
We are open Monday -Thursday from 8am-4pm, and Fridays from 8am to noon. We do not offer radiation services on weekends.
Our Registered Nurses are crucial in providing consultation, assessment, treatment, symptom management, education and emotional support to patients in our care. The Registered Nurse, through care, counseling and curative measures, is responsible for ensuring that the patient has adequate information to make health decisions, coordination of total care and assists the patient in mitigating side effects of treatment and reaching the ultimate goal of self-care in order to support health, life, and the quality of life.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Prior Oncology or Radiation Oncology experience preferred
Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure
BSN within 48 months of hire
Current Certification in Basic Life Support
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
Experience in understanding and usage of computers and ability to learn new programs
