Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Charge Nurse to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
Adjust staffing as needed to ensure proper coverage according to designates staff/patient ratios in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Manager. This position is responsible for personally covering a shift if adequate staffing cannot be found.
Monitors and evaluates nursing care given.
Participates with the Clinical Nurse Manager and other nursing managers in the development of therapeutic programs for the unit.
Participates in orientation program for new employees and in-service education for shift employees when needed.
Serves as a preceptor for new employees, or coordinates orientation with the preceptor designated by the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Receives the intake information and verifies the admission with the physician and Intake Referral Coordinator.
A $4,000.00 sign on bonus available for qualified newly hired candidates. A 24 month commitment is required.
