The Protocol Manager is responsible for organizing and planning the work of the Protocol Office, providing a variety of oncology clinical trials appropriate for use at our institution and maintaining a quality oncology research program. This position interacts with patients and families, the national oncology groups, principal investigators, research staff, the Cancer Center Director and staff, the medical oncology private practice, and hospital senior administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a research-related area; Master’s preferred
RN licensure within the State of Pennsylvania
Protecting Human Research Participants (PHRP) certification; CRA and ONC preferred
MS Office proficiency
Ability to manage a multi-line phone system
1-3 years of Med/Surg nursing and 6-7 years of research experience preferred
