The Emergency Department at Saddleback Memorial Laguna Hills is a 31 bed unit. The Emergency Department is a STEMI receiving center and is certified as an advanced primary stroke center.
This position is responsible for providing patient care in a safe an effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing the Patient Care Technician activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, and teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, and documentation and evaluation per unit standards. Collaboration between healthcare team members and Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.

Experience One year acute care experience in Emergency and/or Critical Care nursing. Electronic Medical Record experience desirable
