The nurse manager will have oversight for the daily operations of the outpatient infusion center, as well as assisting with patient care. Our infusion center serves approximately 100 patients per month for chemotherapy and other infusions, and is open Monday through Friday. The manager will have clinical oversight, especially for those patients receiving chemotherapy, and will coordinate the scheduling of department staff as well as visiting specialty physicians in Oncology, Cardiology, etc. The manager will have input into the annual budget, and will track productivity throughout the year. The area will be completely remodeled in early 2018 to better facilitate workflow, throughput and patient comfort, as well as to accommodate telemedicine initiatives. This center will be aligned with the Frontier Cancer Center in Billings, MT as part of our regional initiatives for cancer care within SCL Health locations in Montana.

The nurse manager is responsible for the day to day operations of an Outpatient/Oncology service area, including an infusion center. Duties include management of the human resources, fiscal resources, systems, materials, and support necessary to achieve operational goals set forth in the annual nursing and organizational strategic plan. The nurse manager ensures that the quality of patient care meets legal and professional standards and also acts as a role model to other members of the health care team. Maintains guest relations, mission, and value statements of HRH. This nurse manager will have hands-on patient care responsibilities and significant experience in caring for cancer patients and administering chemotherapy.

Education, Experience, and Licensure/Certification Requirements: Requirements are representative of minimum level of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.3. Current Certification in BLS.5. Preferred BS or BA in healthcare related field preferred with expected degree completion in three years.7. OCN certification preferred with expected certification within one year.9. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills.
8. Demonstrated experience with computers and associated software programs such as but no limited to Microsoft Office Suite.
6. ACLS certification within 6 months or next available class.
4. A minimum of two years in leadership role, preferred.
2. Current MT RN Licensure.
